Our Materials
Real materials, honest prices. Every Auralie piece is made in genuine 925 sterling silver or 18k gold vermeil, set with brilliant moissanite or cubic zirconia. Here's exactly what that means — and why it lasts.
925 sterling silver
Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, with the remaining 7.5% alloyed for strength — that's the "925" stamp you'll see on fine jewellery. It's hypoallergenic, beautiful, and the genuine precious-metal standard. Not silver-plated, not silver-coloured. Actual silver.
18k gold vermeil
Gold vermeil (pronounced "vur-may") is the gold standard for demi-fine jewellery. It's a thick layer of real gold over a solid sterling-silver base — not a flash of gold over cheap brass.
To legally be called vermeil, a piece must have a sterling-silver base and a gold layer of at least 10k fineness and a minimum thickness of 2.5 microns. That's five times the minimum for ordinary gold plating. The result wears beautifully, resists tarnish far longer than plating, and won't turn your skin green.

Moissanite
Our hero stone. Moissanite is a lab-created gem with more fire than a diamond, a 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale (harder than any other gemstone except diamond), and a price that makes everyday luxury actually possible. It's ethical, brilliant, and built to last. Everything about moissanite →
Cubic zirconia
CZ is the original accessible sparkle — a lab-created stone that delivers gorgeous brilliance at the most affordable price. We use high-quality CZ where it shines brightest: pieces made for everyday glow and trend-led designs you'll love right now.
How to keep it glowing
